While he was the DRO in Kanchipuram, he collected evidence and got the Pepsi plant closed following a complaint that there was dirt in the soft drink. He was the first Tamil Nadu IA officer to release his assets. He made it possible for the 2011 assembly elections in Madurai district to be held in a fair manner. He sent a detailed report to the Tamil Nadu government about granite and mineral sand theft and got it to take action. He is a man of integrity. He is doing social work through the Makkal Padhai Movement.
